It's a beautiful, quiet place right above the shore, with a gorgeous view from the main dining room. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff throughout. The Coast Kitchen offered excellent food. We loved the Timber Cove Resort!
This is a wonderful,beautiful, and relaxing place to stay. The owners upgraded our room at no extra charge because they wanted us to have one of the best rooms. We had a private deck with a hot tub, bbq, and a fireplace in the room. It was very romantic and relaxing. We didn't want to leave. All rooms have an excellent view overlooking the ocean. Its location is above Fort Ross and is one mile from Timber Cove. This is the best place to stay in the area and is close to Salt Point State Park.
We stayed here for one night. It was lovely. The room was delightful. The best part was waking up and seeing the river in front of the deck we went outside and had our coffee on the deck and sat there for a few hours enjoying this amazing amounts of birds and seals going back-and-forth on the river. We were so happy to have a noon checkout so we could just lollygag and soak up the enjoyment of the space.
Great place, friendly staff. Comfortable accommodations with a nice breakfast. Pool is wonderful during the summer months. There are 2 great places to eat across the street right by the river-Farmhand & Stumptown brewery-very convenient. Also convenient to Armstrong Woods. Will be back!
So the Inn and receptionists, waitstaff fine dining restaurant were great. Food was phenomenal too. But the majority of the staff at the restaurant across the street were cold, unfriendly and a bunch of prudes. I politely asked one of the waiters if i could sit at the bar and he said “Well can you? Like physically. Go see the hostess she needs to do a headcount.” I go see the hostess and she was like hmm 1 person not sure let me see. Made a face and spoke to her colleague. Great location and nice spacious room with a lovely view of the river. The room had a nice patio to enjoy and comfortable club chairs inside to enjoy the view with our coffee in the morning. The room had a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator so we could enjoy food in our room. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to Covid but we were given a bag continental breakfast consisting of fruit, yogurt and a pastry. Very nice get away and we would recommend.
Cant say this enough, our group LOVED Highland Resorts in Guerneville and want to return. The cabins are beautiful and comfortable. The people friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a retreat type atmosphere this is a wonderful place to be.
Enjoyed very much, however, expectation of adult oriented environment disturbed by a number of young children and crying baby. Hope this is more closely observed by the property.

Beautiful place! The staff was extremely personable, friendly and helpful. Got an upgraded room, which was impeccably clean, modern, yet cozy. So many lovely touches that made this a great stay, like the complimentary hot apple cider, staff knowing you by name, and watercolor map of the property. Delicious breakfast, and also highly recommend the dinner tasting menu! Will definitely be returning! Centrally located within the Russian River area.

The hosts were lovely, and the beds super comfy and clean and beautifully presented. It’s not a “glamping” facility however, it’s really camping there’s one single
use bathroom and two showers for the whole campsite plus some porta potties, and you should bring food with you to cook at the camp fire as it’s a 15 min drive to nearest shops. We loved everything about our stay at Casa Secoya! The staff was so friendly and helpful and the grounds are beautiful. It may be noisier during the summer with the swimming pool right outside the rooms, but when we were there in February it was SO peaceful and beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again some day to stay in one of the cabins.
The only thing that would have made this stay a bit better would have been a hot tub on site!
The B&B was absolutely wonderful. It was close to many local vineyards, the coast, Napa, the redwoods, the Russian River, etc. Dana and Brian are so good about answering questions, the breakfast is amazing and their home is beautiful and welcoming. We hope to stay there again in future trips. Oh and Dana makes the best cookies every afternoon! :)
A great location if you want to spend the day at the river, the cute downtown is all with walking distance. The properties could use some deep cleaning , new mattresses,and dusting, but otherwise we had a great experience.
