Very helpful staff went out of their way to solve a couple problems. Cost competitive. I had a balcony with a mountain view - great sunrises! Pet friendly too.
Very comfortable rooms with wonderful local decor! Garden area a very quiet and beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors, including an outdoor fireplace. Finishing touch is the breakfast basket delivered to your door in the morning!
I stayed here for two nights a month while visiting someone nearby; several times. This location is clean and comfortable. Problem is the lack of proper English within the management AND Choice Hotels to comprehend they charged a single visitor twice for one night. I prepaid for one person for two nights and upon check out was charged again for one of the nights. Nightmare with their lack of this simple concept. Still fighting for my credit for the overcharge.
Visually and mentally, a treat for the senses. A great, peaceful getaway for the weekend from Phoenix. Rustic, southwestern charm. Warm, helpful, welcoming staff. The Arizona everyone should see, experience. Enjoy your casita, soak in the sound of the fountain from your patio. Dine adjacent to the fairway as cattle graze in the distance, panoric view of mountain and lush Santa Cruz river while sipping a great glass of wine. My favorite place to stay in AZ.
Rancho Santa Cruz was wonderful. It is a very peaceful retreat and I wish the had stayed more than one night. Excellent hiking nearby on the Juan Bautista de Anza trail. The only drawback is the noise from nearby I-19.
During our 3 day stay we mainly dealt with 2 staff working the check in/out counter. Both were extremely helpful and super pleasant. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.
