To start communication was prompt and comprehensive. This out of the way hotel with its own private garden is far from the sounds of the city center and just a 2 minute walk from shops and dining. The room was clean and well laid out and the service was first rate. I was concerned about not having cell coverage to connect to their system, however it was not an issue. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful

We stayed with 3 adults in one room. It was spacious and comfortable, pleasingly furnished and quiet considering it is right above the train station. There is no elevator and if you are traveling with heavy suit cases you have to lug them to the second floor. But that was the only draw back. The entire purpose of our stay in La Spezia was to visit the Cinque Terre. Like other reviews stated, it was perfect. We got off the train from Verona and headed down hill on the sidewalk about 100 yards and there was the hotel. Reception was very good, our room was very nice. The breakfast was very good. My friend and I stayed 4 days in this hotel. It is in a good location. Near the port and close to the center of town where the restaurants and stores are. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, attentive and very friendly. Breakfast is included in the room price and was good. The room was small but clean. The rooms are on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. This could be an issue for some guests.
