La Casa di Melo was our first stay at an agriturismo and without a doubt, one of the highlights on a 10 day Sicilian vacation. The fixed price dinner was the best we had and the easy going service was extremely pleasing and relaxing. Breakfast was equally outstanding with all types of homemade, fresh Sicilian goodiesI I wish we had been able to spend more time and use the pool and walk the orchards.
A quiet oasis where you can enjoy nature in a peaceful setting. Parking is free and breakfast is included. The bungalows are clean and ample with a private patio. They have a delicious dinner menu too.
The staff is friendly and very accommodating especially Alessandro.
My wife and I booked this B&B for our honeymoon, the price and the rooms are very good quality. We enjoyed staying here, the owner is very friendly and helped me out with a few things. He doesn’t live in the building but his mother does and she was great. She gave my wife and I some beach towels because we forgot ours at home in the U.S. I’m not 100% sure who the older woman is that cooks the breakfast every morning but it is to die for, she makes all sorts of foods for the guests in the...
We had a lovely time. The accomodations were fabulous, the food delicious, the staff extremely kind, helpful and generous. We did a lot of traveling in SE Sicilia and were grateful to return to Agritourismo Val di Noto to recharge! Grazie per tutti!
Ideal place to decompress, reflect, energize, and well needs self-care. Location is located away from the congestion of busy towns, so, it’s a great place to relax.
Location was very quiet, and the restoration done on the old Sicilian farmhouse was excellent.
The room was very comfortable, though the bed was hard as a rock (as is typical). The shower was spacious with good water pressure. The air-conditioning worked quickly and efficiently.
The owner’s dog was sweet, gentle, and well behaved. Our dogs loved the place (and owner’s dog).
Our only slight letdown was the breakfast. While the “squeeze it yourself” orange juice was delicious, the coffee was...
We stayed here for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. We didn’t have time to use the spa but we did go to the outdoor pool for a bit. The pool was amazing and the outdoor bar was a nice touch. The breakfast was very good and the room overlooked the race track so you can watch the horses warm up in the morning. It was an overall excellent hotel for the price.
Lovely, storied, family run villa, particularly well situated for exploring the archeological park. Unique, period decor with modern amenities. Tasty breakfast and very pleasant staff - felt like home! Thanks for the wonderful stay!
My hotel room was very clean and staffs were very kind to me.
And your hotel was close enough to go to the sea in swimsuit.
I'd like to visit your hotel again.
We had a wonderful stay — the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. From the smooth check-in to the awesome lunch at the backyard. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped, and we really appreciated the quiet atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout the property. We would absolutely love to come back and stay again. Highly recommended!
Hidden gem! The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. Can't beat a room that looks out over the water and is a short walk into town. Would highly recommend!
Is this one of the best hotels in the world?15 minutes from Siracusa, in a wonderful position facing the bay the hotel is in a beautiful carefully planned garden. The 90 rooms are spread in the garden, each a building with just ground floor. We had a large room for three and a large bathroom. Elegant and efficient, excellent bed and private balcony. The hotel has a reception and a restaurant building. All is close, 200m. Swimming pool. But the top are the two options for swimming and sunning: on...
Room was nice. It included a fridge and microwave, plenty of room for luggage, and also plenty of room to hang clothes. There was a small balcony that overlooked the back street that also had a small clothesline. Location was halfway up the hill between the Valle dei Templi and Agrigento downtown. (We didn't have a car...we walked everywhere, but there are busses to get around). There were a couple of restaurants (Trattoriaq di Templi was quite nice) right next door as well as a pharmacy and two...
Great unique boutique property facing the sea and in the middle of Ortigia. Recently renovated property. Highly recommend for a stay exploring the island and its alleys.
Very friendly reception with welcome drink in roof top bar.
Very helpful staff including manager Signore Dino (as well as the owner always in the background).
Modern and beautiful rooms with high quality equipment.
Roof top swimming pool area as well as restaurant offering breathtaking views.
Best breakfast buffet on our Sicily trip: fresh fruit, juices, breads, cakes, croissants, cheeses, Italian sausages.
All coffee choices - espresso, cappuccino, lattes - available from 3 large automatic...
The hotel is located close to some of the major attractions...the archeological museum and the Greek theater are not far away. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. There is an excellent cable service that includes CNN and the BBC. The breakfasts are superb. The management is friendly and attentive. The hotel has a certain classic charm. I have stayed here many times and am happy to recommend this hotel.
