"Beautiful lobby, bar area and room. We got the family room which was an absolute delight and pleasant surprise. Two large adjacent luxurious rooms with fantastic amenities and toiletries. The staff is very quick to respond and bring any additional needs requested. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have a good system of reserving taxis if needed and can do this in a jiffy. Breakfast was great at the hotel too. Since it is in the city center, the noise level at night time is something that takes a little adjustment (ambulances, scooters, cars) driving by but the room was so good that it was a little compromise to make. Kids loved the room! Wish we would have stayed more. The old style elevator adds a touch of charm as well!"

"Great hotel and would definitely stay again. The pool is fantastic and there’s a good range of food at the breakfast buffet. Unfortunately we had to change rooms after the third night of our stay as they couldn’t accommodate us in the same room for all 4 nights (we did know this before arriving) - the new room had no working tv (not a big deal I know) or aircon and it was really hot that day/night. The staff at reception did provide a fan for the room, but it wasn’t great. Other than that the stay was very enjoyable."

"Beautiful boutique hotel... gorgeous old elevator, nice staff, INCREDIBLE SHOWER. Maybe the best I've ever been in. Great restaurants nearby... my only warning is that walking to the port or the old city center you have to go through some real rough looking areas. First time I was ever scared in Italy. That was a bummer."

"Beautiful old hotel. Very well located need train station and a short walk to the Harbour. Restaurants were very good but not located where advertised. Staff said they would be moving soon. Most staff were very attentive but a couple in the bar were not engaged and it was not busy"
