Hotels in Kahala Beach Estates

First, the size of this apartment is impressive, very clean and beautifully furnished. It has a modern kitchen, W/D and even a wine cooler. Location is a bit away from the tourist areas and perfect for a quite relaxing vacation. My only concerns were the bugs inside the apartment. There were just too many beetles, crawling all over the floor and falling from the light fixtures (over the two days we were there, we counted about 15-20 black beetles). Had only an overnight stay for an early appt at Shriner's the next morning. No complaints whatsoever. We loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had a 2 double bed suite with fold out couch. Everything was clean. Staff was friendly and checked with us to ask if our room was ok. The breakfast was plentiful and had a variety of choices. Stayed for a night before a cruise. Mardi Gras party made lots of noise, but we stayed in our quiet and very nice room. Disaster struck the next day after we boarded our ship. Discovered that I’d left all my medication at Hotel with 45 minutes before sail away. Peggy, front desk staffer, immediately jumped in her car and brought my meds to the ship in the nick of time. Talk about above and beyond service, this was it!! Saved my vacation, and I’ll always remember Peggy and the Galveston Hilton.

The location of this hotel is perfect. The hotel is only 13 miles from Galveston and literally $300 cheaper. No, it's not a resort, but the room was super clean and the staff was very professional. Texas city is growing and has everything you need close for food, etc. I couldn't find anything wrong with my room and I'm a clean freak. Everything smelt fresh and sanitized. Great place the a vintage vibe

Didn’t like that you have to pay $20 for parking over night. Corta hotel we’ve stayed at that has a parking fee for regular uncovered parking.

Very clean, nice and quiet

Fred at check in service was on point and friendly. Helped with breakfast time,elevator and parking. Breakfast was hot and fresh with options to choose from. Bed was a little too hard for myself. Will be back again

One of the best hotels in Galveston. Just wish the breakfast was better

This was our first visit to this hotel in the Galveston area. We come for dickens on the strand each year. We love the proximity to the beach and some other nearby attractions. The front desk staff was often unavailable or scarce. The breakfast was wonderful. The facility is very nice. There is also posted ours on the door of the bar, but when we inquired, they said the bar was closed until a later time.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! It was very clean! We had an issue with loud neighbors and it was promptly taken care of. The breakfast bar was fresh all the way up until closing.
