The hotel staff was most attentive. We scheduled several tours including Lake Titicaca, Valley of the Moon, and city tour that were all terrific. Location was excellent in walking distance to wonderful restaurants and services.
I have stayed at this property maybe three times. I intended to stay 21 days but unfortunately after one week I became sick and had to fly back home. The hotel staff was very attentive. Upon my return, I was issued a prompt refund. I would stay there again.
I love this place 1000%. I've been to thousands of hotels in my life while traveling, but this hotel is amazing should be a 5-star hotel for sure. The price you pay no comparison to what it's worth it. The people are very friendly, polite, humble and you will automatically fill like a family. Because of them, I will definitely go back to La Paz soon.

The family suite apartment is one of the best available anywhere. Spacious, modern and extremely comfortable. The beds(1 king and 2 double in the second room) are extremely comfortable and perfectly appointed. The kitchen is very well equipped.

We stayed in the hotel for several days and we really liked it. It is in a great location, within walking distance of great restaurants and a small shopping district. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a room that had a lot of sunshine so it kept the room quite warm. There is a beautiful little courtyard in the second floor where we could sit to relax after coming back from meetings. The hotel also has an excellent wifi that is free and available in the rooms and the garden.
I read the reviews before I booked the hotel. I was a little scare because they were not good. I checked in at 4am and the front desk agent gave me a room and told me they were going to change me in the morning. The room was very spacious, clean and confortable. If you are looking for an amazing location near downtown La Paz, the Illampu Art Boutique Hotel is a great choice. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a wonderful breakfast with fantastic views of the city. The staff was incredibly helpful. Jimena helped us with everything from taxis to tours to finding places to eat. We felt extremely welcomed at this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
