I would absolutely recommend Sicli Albergo Diffuso to anyone looking to stay a few days in beautiful Scicli. Our room was in a historic building, was immaculately clean and comfortable, and had so much character. The staff were all friendly and accommodating and it was the perfect place to stay in the area. I hope to return someday and stay again! It was a truly wonderful place to stay.

We spent two nights at modica palace hotel. It is a wonderful place with courteous and pleasant staff. Superb cleanliness all around and a wonderful breakfast awaited us. Hotel is close to some shops, pizzeria and coffee shop. One has to take pool towels with him since they are not supplied. Few umbrellas would also be great around the pool since we experienced scorching sun and high temperatures at the time. The pool and area was meticulously clean.
If you are going to visit Ragusa (and you should), this is absolutely the best place to stay. There is no beating the view and their "secret staircase" saved us many extra steps when walking to the Ibla, which we did numerous times. We had a car with us and found it easy to drive to the hotel and find parking. The gentleman running the place was great. Architecturally stunning. Most all breads, meats, cheeses, and even vines made, bred or grown on their 38 hectares of surrounding property. Service was everything you would expect from a 5 star accommodation. Room appropriate for surroundings but a little small.
