If you like the hustle and bustle of a market, you might want to head out to City Market in Nairobi Central Business District and take in the atmosphere. Splash some more cash at Maasai Market.
If you want to see a show while you're in town, try and grab some tickets at Kenya National Theatre in Nairobi Central. If you want to experience more of the culture Nairobi has to offer, head to University of Nairobi, Nairobi National Museum, and City Square.
"Decent and safe location for a layover ..thanks to AA cancelled flights. Clean and quiet -restful few hours of sleep
-Airport pickup could be made available via WhatsApp (instead of just hotel #) given the likelihood of international travelers w unscheduled /unexpected layovers ..although it was easy enough to locate staff upon landing.
-Finding a meal for those that are late arrivals/ early departures may need a bit of work - or say lobby coffee in early am . Nbd really but considering it’s an airport hotel , one would expect short stayers.
Would stay again ."
"Reception was very helpful, and even provided a bagged breakfast for my early morning departure. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. It had a nice desk area that was well-lit. Altogether, it made for a very nice stay."

"I had the best hotel experience at Fairview. It was extremely safe and the room was really beautiful. The grounds were amazing and I really felt safe. The breakfast was awesome and I look forward to it every day. The staff was so helpful and really made our stay relaxing. I will definitely stay there if I return to Kenya."
