"The hotel itself is great. Large rooms, very clean. Food and wine in restaurant was faultless, and the server lovely. Very reasonably priced (and thereā€™s a 20% discount for guests). Reception staff not great, especially at check in when staff member was insisting on a PIN number for a card that doesnā€™t have one. She would not accept that it could be inserted and verified with a signature (which the manager confirmed upon checkout). Very unsmiling, unfriendly reception staff. Maybe it was a language problem because I live in Bulgaria and love the people. Or maybe they are trained to be overly formal. Great location though. Bad news: bar shuts at 10/10.30! Also bad: cleaner came into my room both mornings when I was in bed, despite my Do Not Disturb light being on. Scary!"
