This is a hidden gem for San Isidro. Good road to access property. Friendly staff. Beautifuly landscaped property. Clean rooms. Hot shower. Comfortable beds and pillows. The pools are clean. One is deep with slides and and a jumping ledge. The restaurant and bar area has good food a drinks along with pool, air hockey, and foosball.

Our stay at Oxygen Jungle Villas was amazing! The property is very well taken care of. The rooms were beyond comfortable. We even saw a sloth on the property! The only thing that I would say is that anyone staying on the property must have a vehicle with 4x4 and the hotel should definitely disclose that at the moment or prior to booking. My family and I stayed at the Cristal Ballena for 3 nights at it was absolutely lovely. The hotel grounds are considerably large and extremely well-manicured. There are a variety of flowers, fruit trees and other shrubbery making our early morning hikes through the property incredibly pleasurable. The best part was the enchanting river we discovered. We loved staying here. it was a romantic, pampered experience. Manager Scott made us feel very welcome and the wonderful staff were warm and helpful and friendly. The view and the pool and the surroundings are simply heavenly. I was in CR for 7 nights - my best stay and value was at Hotel del Sur. I couldn't find the place upon my arrival - thank goodness Stephanie at the front desk spoke great English and was able to guide me to the hotel. I came to learn all of the front desk staff spoke good English actually. Not only did Stephanie help me find the place, but she was super friendly and accomodating regardless of my late hour arrival. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit.
The beach was amazing! The cabins are very private and comfortable. There are monkeys and toucans on site. The staff was fantastic. So friendly! We got a flat tire and they pointed it out to us and immediately changed it for us...in the dark! Exceptional service! Highly recommended! We will be back!

Absolutely epic view. Incredible accommodations and very friendly staff. We had a very short stay and wish we could have been there longer. Highly recommend. The only challenge is the treacherous drive up/down the mountain. It is not paved and very rocky. You’ll need a 4x4 vehicle.
The staff was great, Diego and Gerald were very helpful recomending and reserving activities, and would also have a packed lunch for us.
