"Room wasn’t what we were expecting - beds were on a platform 3 steps up and had cot sides. Also no bathtub - we asked to be moved to a different room and eventually a compromise was found. They said that Expedia has mixed up the photographs between room types "
"Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly. Great free breakfast and free tea and coffee in reception. Walkable to the tourist sites (garden, castle), plenty of restaurants and shopping options."

Such a great hotel! Right across from train station, express bus stop, and port for ferry to Naoshima. Our room (two twins) was gorgeous, very comfortable, nice shower, separate tpiletrppm, sink in main part of room. TV allowed access to Netflix, Hulu, etc. Our reservation included access to the neighboring onsen, which had both indoor and outdoor pools. Our reservation also onuded breakfast, which was DELICIOUS. A flight of freshly made juices (orange, lemonade, tomato & red pepper, spinach and...
The location of this Dormy Inn was ideal as it was less than one block from a central shopping arcade that had an incredible number of dining and shopping options. I have stayed in a number of Dormy Inns over the years and they never disappoint. I love the hot spring baths and especially enjoy the ones that have open air baths. Beds are always comfortable. I also appreciate a reasonably priced, but very generous buffet breakfast. Coin Laundry facilities in the Inn make doing ones own...
The owner and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They, thankfully, held my luggage before check in and well after check out so I could maximize my sightseeing in Naoshima. My room was well-appointed though small, but good for someone who doesn’t travel with large suitcases. The hotel is conveniently located across from the ferry and a very brief walk to the train station. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Shout out to Max, Minh, Reiko and the rest of the crew (I’m sorry I...
Gorgeous view. Was able to catch the sunrise behind the mountain and angel
Road which was beautiful. The room has all the basic necessities (towels, coffee makers, bowls, cups and utensils) and has black out curtains for comfortable sleep. The description said there is a washer but come to find out it’s a washer and dryer in one! So helpful when traveling with younger kids. You will need a rental car or book a site seeing cab. You can walk down the hill to the mega super market in about 15mins...
