"Lovely warm room (I was there in winter - it becomes AC in summer), fantastic breakfast that fills you up till dinner and close to the Acropolis so you walk there in about 40 mins.
Vedat speaks great English and can offer help about the area and Nur is also very polite and friendly. A 7-min walk into the town and about a 20-min walk to catch the bus to Aliaga if going towards Izmir."
"We enjoyed our stay at Thousand Ally so much! This is a magical location well off the beaten path, in a small village in the hills. If you want to experience authentic Turkish village life, warm hospitality and amazing food, look no further. Thousand Ally is a truly unique adventure."
"I have stayed here three times. Each time has been a very enjoyable stay in Bergama and this guest house. I have stayed at nearly 100 hotels and guest houses in Turkey now and this is in the top five for me. "
"Tucked away inside a high wall a short walk from the town centre this hotel is a little oasis for your stay. The staff were efficient and the rooms comfortable. "
"This hotel is very much in the ‘faded grandeur’ class, which is what we liked. The room was huge (a suite with 2 rooms actually) but the main drawback was the tiny bathroom with a shower which indeed leaked, although there was a squeegee and a handy drain. No mosquito protection but luckily we didn’t see any. Breakfast in a very pleasant courtyard. Friendly dog and beautiful affectionate cat. Nice staff, not much English spoken so don’t rely on them for planning trips or transport, etc. Air conditioning fine. Brilliant position in the old town under the acropolis near the Red Basilica and walking distance to Asclepion."
"Welcoming receptionist who was charming and friendly throughout our stay. The hotel is in an ideal location in the centre of town, close to lots of good places to eat. The museum is opposite and you can walk to the two sets of archeological sites if you wish as we did.
Inside the hotel we slept well on comfortable beds. Bathroom was good.
Breakfast is simple but adequate "
"My hosts were amazing, most comfortable and pleasant stay. It felt like coming home.
Beautiful place Dwight on the beach front. Safe and secluded courtyard behind the stone walls. "
