"Like others have said be prepared for stairs, stairs, and more stairs! Definitely not a place for disabled, elderly or otherwise anyone with difficulty climbing. The room was clean and simple however we were two friends sharing a room with two beds, too small and would not recommend except for intimate couples. TV only picked up a couple local stations which came in poorly. The pool is nice but not heated so I took a cold swim in morning. There is a restaurant on site which is good otherwise...

"Discovery Island Resort was incredible. The property was so chilled and tranquil. The room, pool, restaurant and the grounds were lovely and spotlessly maintained. But most of all the management and staff were wonderful. Toni and her team were always courteous and efficient...and made us feel welcome the whole time. Can't wait to stay there again. "We had a wonderful stay at this property. All the staff are very accommodating and respectful. You can go fishing on this property and let them cook it for you for a little fee , just make sure bring your own gear for fishing. Thank you guys for making our stay really good."
