"The room was clean, staff ok but the $40 I spent on a long bath was horrible. Staff was loud and sprayed me while cleaning the tub next door. There was a problem client that was in and out of her tub due to heat. She should have left. I have been many times prior without a bad experience. This was definitely a bad experience. Don’t know that I will ever return."

"We were surprised to find that the majority of the rooms were on the second floor with long staircases and no elevators. Since I have leg problems and cannot climb stairs, the staff was good enough to change our room to one with an elevator. The room was clean, the heat and AC worked well. The parking was a challenge at times. Our room was very small and so was the size of the shower, sink and bathroom in general. We had just the bare necessities. The staff was very accomodating and nice."

"The location is great. No views, but very close to everything we wanted to see. The room was spotless, beds were comfortable, shower worked well. The only thing I noticed was that there was an iron....but no ironing board. We didn't need one, but another guest might have. We brought our travel Keurig with us, but found that they had a Keurig in the room. However, it leaked around the bottom somewhere. The little refrigerator was pretty loud. It worked great, but was pretty noisy- especially at night. Didn't bother me, but it did bother my husband. All in all, the stay was fine. Yes, we would stay again."

"Room very clean"

"Great place! The price point in the state matched. Great location right in the middle of everything Hood River has to offer. It was nice to walk everywhere. The hot tub was perfect and the sauna is a great hot temperature 195°. We stayed in a king size river view. Because the hotel was built in 1905, all the windows are small, but the views were very nice. I can’t really compare this to anything else in Hood River, outside of the best western as those are the only two that I’ve stayed in. Very different hotels, but both are great."
