"This was my first hotel in Costa Rica, and overall it left a great impression. The volcano view was beautiful, the staff were kind, and the room was large and spotless.
The only small downside was the dinner. The price was high compared to the value, especially the steak, which I hope can be improved in the future. "

Super friendly staff all throughout the establishment. Beautiful natural gardens. Clean, modern rooms with all the ammenities. Will definitely be back."

"I loved this property. The free guided walks are amazing. I saw sleeping frogs and humming birds and learned so much about the plant life and also the history of the lodge. Edward was a great guide!
The breakfast was tasty and the room was immaculate. My kids appreciated the pool. I just loved walking the grounds and the view from the restaurant. Fantastic place and would recommend a stay here."

"Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Rooms were well maintained and had an authentic feel, although the shower was a bit difficult to keep at a consistent temperature. Beds were comfy. Pool was a bit chilly.
The location was a bit of a drive from Arenal and La Fortuna, so I was glad that we had rented a vehicle to get around.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would certainly recommend to others looking to stay in the area. "

"This is the most beautiful accommodation I have ever stayed in! The "villa" was stunning, clean, well appointed and nestled in the magical landscape in such a way that it felt like we were alone in the forest. The staff was fantastic, helpful, accommodating and kind. I can not say enough positive things about Sangregado Lodge! I highly highly recommend!"
