War Remnants Museum is just one of the attractions in Phường 6, Ho Chi Minh Municipality so you might want to stop by during your trip. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. If you want to experience more of the culture Ho Chi Minh Municipality has to offer, head to Independence Palace, Tao Dan Park, and Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica.
If you want to see a show while you're in town, try and grab some tickets at Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theatre in Phường 6. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. If you enjoy the show and want to see another, Galaxy Nguyen Du is just a short walk away.
If you want to give your credit card some exercise, head out to Co.opmart Nguyen Dinh Chieu in Phường 6. Splash some more cash at Ben Thanh Market, Benthanh Street Food Market, and Vincom Center Shopping Mall.

Our stay in HCMC at Sherwood Suites was lovely. The rooms were large and comfortably furnished. A bit basic but clean, functional and lots of room to spread out. Love the full kitchen - even though we never cooked anything. And the washer and dryer just made me happy. The location is very convenient - straight down the road about four blocks or so to the Independence Palace and three blocks from the War Remnants Museum. There is Co-op Supermarket across the street which made it very easy...
I enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were nice and quiet. I couldn’t hear my neighbors (which is important to me). The staff was super nice. Right outside there’s a Starbucks (for those who can’t live without) A Paris Baguette and across the street a G25 (7-11) type store which we went to quite often to buy snacks and beer :).
We stayed for 8 nights.Over all we enjoyed the hotel.the price was affordable and roome was quite big for 5 people.Not all the staff can speak English.But they were all friendly.What I can tell you is this is nice hotel.
Very nice small hotel in a quiet area. Love the shower in this hotel! Breakfast is wonderful! My husband loves the pho-licious noodle being served at breakfast and I love the varieties of foods being served. The only downside is the breakfast sitting area… it’s very small. The manager and employees were so friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend and stay here again! :)

The room was clean. The staff were all very courteous. The communication turnaround with the staff was very quick. The only thing was that the wall was very thin - make sure you bring ear plugs!

If you are thinking of renting an apartment here, I have two words of advice: Do it! We feel very lucky that we rented a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment here, in District 3, for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers.
