We had always wanted to stay on a Tea Estate in the hills and this did not disappoint. A great tour of the estate was arranged either the Tea Estate Manager and was an excellent insight into how tea is grown and picked. Great views from the veranda. Staff most helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Summit Hotel in Kandy. The decor all throughout the property has been thoughtfully put together.
The room was lovely and very spacious, with an amazing view that made the stay extra special. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful — Pradeep and the rest of the team truly went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed.

Besides the long steps up to our room, this was a very pleasant stay for my sisters and I. The owner was very nice and welcomed us. The property has such a beautiful view. The property itself is very cozy sitting on a hill. Every morning breakfast is served, fresh eggs, delicious toast, juice and tea. Beautiful hotel and room very nicely appointed. Rooftop pool was fabulous. Great outlook and easily enjoyed cocktails from that viewpoint! Very friendly staff. Great location above the lake and looks across to Temple of the relic of the tooth. Easy walk down town.
Jack tree lodge is a nice place to stay, the owner is very nice and the staff too, we felt home. They offered breakfast every morning. The location is a 15 minutes walk from the city which was better for us. The rooms have a nice view.
The only disadvantage in Kandy is that almost everything closes around 10 pm so nothing much to do or places to eat.
This is an excellent property at a beautiful location with great views. The breakfast I had here was one of the better ones I had in SL. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean and spacious.
The only thing I will mention is getting to this place is through a km of very narrow hilly road. Trust your driver and hopefully you do not have too big of a car. Once you get here, the view and the resort is worth it. Minimize the up and down trips to city of Kandy from here if you...
