We loved this resort! The views are fantastic! Each unit has a terrace for sitting and enjoying the views. They also have made several other places with comfortable chairs and hammocks to sit and enjoy the time. All sorts of water sports are available: kayaks, snorkeling, island hopping, and of course diving! We are not divers but we loved everything else. I went out snorkeling right in front of the resort, straight from our lounge chair. It was gorgeous. Everything we did was gorgeous! ...
Be prepared for “roughing it” to a degree. No a/c, cold water shower, but magical surroundings in spectacular setting, All meals provided. Happy atmosphere and happy guests there to experience the raw beauty. Monkeys in the trees add something extra to enjoy
I was expecting "white sand beaches and clear warm waters" as seen in the ads so I paid the price for a "Beach Front Room' only to find out that there is no white sand beach - only mud and muddy waters! We found out later that the islands with beautiful white beaches, clear waters and lagoons can only be reached by boat at a very pricey cost - $120-150 per person depending on your island destination. This place is an absolute gem! Everything is so beautifully designed and well laid out with stunning views over the infinity pool and the islands beyond. Mel was a fantastic host who took care of so many of our different changing needs. She helped organize a private boat tour that took us to some of the most magical places in the area.I would highly recommend this place to any and all travelers who wishes to see the magic of Coron & Busuanga.
This is a great resort with great views- easily a place you can stay at for days. The villas are scattered and very private, and the vegetation is thick and lush- plenty of flowers. The staff is very friendly, professional, and attentive and will go out of their way to make sure you're happy. I forgot my shoes after a boating trip, but couldn't remember if I had left it at the bus terminal or on the bus itself. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The place is meticulously clean. It is very quiet, and everything is within walking distance. Airport transportation was smooth and arranged by the hotel staff. Port is 5 min walk away to hire a boat to go to magical islands within 20-30 minutes for snorkeling, swimming or seeing the rock formation and amazing nature. We would be repeating our visit here!
The resort met our expectations in its beauty, luxury, and service. The setting is stunning with reefs off their beaches accessible by just swimming with a mask and snorkel(free!). It is on an isolated island 40 minute boat ride from Coron town proper. The food is awesome, but not all the restaurants are available everyday. I have to start off by saying that staying at Paolyn Houseboat was a leap of faith for myself, my wife, and our 3 children. Great staff! I decided to try out some hostels for this solo travel trip and I’ve come to the conclusion hostels aren’t really for me, but I would definitely stay at The Outpost again because of the staff.

It’s a beautiful hotel with stellar management and staff. With each day we stayed there, we became more enchanted with the place. One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed at. Staff makes you feel like you own the island and they all work for you. Try to get a VIP Villa or beach Villa. Highly recommend for romantic get away. Sunsets are spectacular. We had dinner on the beach almost every evening, unforgettable time here. I love you guys.
Our stay at Bacau Bay was wonderful! The property was beautiful with great facilities and the staff were so nice and helpful. We spent an entire afternoon relaxing in their beautiful pool and ordering poolside food and drinks. It’s also a short tuktuk ride into town, which the hotel staff were easily able to help call for us. We only stayed one night but could have easily spent many more there.
Easy tricycle ride into town for dinner at Lobster King or other local Coron restaurants. Great tour packages for island hopping book all at front desk. Nice pools. Close to docks and town. Easy shuttle from airport. Good breakfast buffet every morning. Overall a good 4 night stay for the price. They have a spa for massage at night.
