Had a fantastic time at this very unique hotel located above the city of Zermatt on the Mountain Gornergrat. We requested a room with a view of the Matterhorn and we were extremely pleased with our room and view. The price of the hotel included dinner and breakfast (at least in our case). We only stayed here for a night and it was perfect for what we needed it for. If you have luggage, you can either take a taxi there or walk. The walk back to the train stations, town, and shops is gradually uphill but not bad. You are about 7-8 minutes away from the busier section of Zermatt which could be benefit as it is a little quieter but still easily accessible.
