My family and I stayed at the Cristal Ballena for 3 nights at it was absolutely lovely. The hotel grounds are considerably large and extremely well-manicured. There are a variety of flowers, fruit trees and other shrubbery making our early morning hikes through the property incredibly pleasurable. The best part was the enchanting river we discovered. I was in CR for 7 nights - my best stay and value was at Hotel del Sur. I couldn't find the place upon my arrival - thank goodness Stephanie at the front desk spoke great English and was able to guide me to the hotel. I came to learn all of the front desk staff spoke good English actually. Not only did Stephanie help me find the place, but she was super friendly and accomodating regardless of my late hour arrival. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit.
