Set in the heart of Zermatt and surrounded by stunning Alpine scenery, it felt like stepping into a postcard, especially at Christmas. We were lucky enough to experience a truly magical Swiss Christmas, complete with snow-dusted mountains, festive charm, and an atmosphere that felt straight out of a fairytale. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. The Zermatterhof didn’t just meet expectations, it exceeded them in every way. A flawless experience and a hotel we will treasure forever and absolutely return to."

"We had a wonderful stay at Matthiol Boutique Hotel. The room was beautiful, and I highly recommend using the sauna—it was an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was phenomenal, and we also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which honestly was one of the best dining experiences we had in Zermatt. The food and atmosphere were outstanding. The hotel offers pick-up and drop-off service from the train station, which was very convenient and made arrival and departure seamless. The location is truly exceptional, with a beautiful trail right behind the property and breathtaking views of the Matterhorn. Highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in Zermatt."
