The property and House was clean and cool with AC! The staff was so much fun and thoughtful! We learned so much from Alfred and Dwight throughout our stay! We also did the big zip lines, repelling, and tight rope which was fun and beautiful! There is lots to do around the resort and it’s close to so many beautiful sights!
This is a quiet and friendly place to stay. The staff make you feel at home and make a lot of effort to make your feel welcome. The best part is that it is unique. You do not feel like you have checked into a resort bubble. It has beautiful nature and the stars at night are fantastic. There is not wifi in the rooms, but this is part of what makes this place a great getaway. I hope they do not change it too much to look like any other resort in Belize. The nature and staff make this a great...
I had high expectations from the phenomenal reviews here and Gaia exceeded all of them. It's the perfect place to go if you're looking to unplug, get a little adventure, experience the real Belize, but not "sacrifice" on all the comforts and luxuries you want out of a vacation. "Glamping" comes to mind. The negative reviews on this site are few are far between, but if you're anything like me, have a tendency to perseverate on them. After having spent 5 nights at Gaia, I wanted to address...
From the time I booked our stay, the staff here was nothing short of spectacular. They offered tons of helpful information and were extremely helpful in planning offsite excursions in the area. The onsite restaurant offers very reasonably priced Belizean meals that are simple but delicious. The staff and management here pays an extreme level of attention to detail and a maximum effort to ensure that not only fulfilled, but anticipated our every need. I was completely blown away on one...
Great location close to Cristo Rey and our favorite restaurant in Cayo, Carm’s Home Cooling!!!!
Excellent stay in the jungle. The real feel of inland Belize.
I loved staying at the maya mountain lodge. The problem was being a solo traveler and trying to go on tours. You need at least 2 people so that could be difficult. I would have liked to have done a tour tramsfer when i was leaving but the option was nit available to a solo traveler. Everything else about it was wonderful. The view up the hill was also beautiful !
Let's be clear to anybody reading this, Nabitunich is not an ordinary hotel. It's a handful of duplex rooms on a farming property which is right adjacent to the jungle. There are howler monkeys that make noises throughout much of the night and the roosters will crow whenever they feel like it. The road from the main highway is about one kilometer and is bumpy and rocky. You will dodge goats and sheep as you traverse the dirt road. However, once you get there, Dominic will treat you as an honored...
Incredibly beautiful. So much to see on the 7200 acres. Abundant wildlife . Pine forest and broadleaf jungle. Jaguar Reserve. Waterfalls everywhere. Could not believe what we were seeing. Made it hard to travel off the property to see other sites.
Staff was wonderful. Ofelia ,Marissa
Jaime,Hector made us feel right at home.Really looked out for us. Accommodations exquisite. Food and drinks top shelf. Must return. Just scratched the surface in five days.
We had an amazing Jungle Vacation at table Rock. The property is beautifully filled with Mango and Orange trees. Toucans and other wild birds can be seen all over the lodge. The staff is extremely friendly and took care of us very well. I would recommend Table Rock to all those seeking a true jungle vacation. The town of San Ignacio is about 15 mins on dirt roads. Use Jasmine shuttle that swings by every 30 mins for $5 per person. Taxi will cost you $25/person.
Mystic Mountain Resort is definitely off the beaten path, being about 7 miles into the countryside away from the village, but I wouldn’t want it any other way! Mystic Mountain is definitely a nature lovers paradise, with great pools, hiking options, bird watching and more. We were able to see so many birds and animals around, just by quietly enjoying our patio area. We even learned that Mystic has a sister resort across the river, which you can visit by crossing the river. The staff are very...
The staff is very professional yet engaging and personable…a unique and welcome mix that works well to elevate your overall experience at this property. Excellent service!
We enjoyed our stay at the West House boutique Hotel. The location in San Ignacio is close to restaurants. The hotel spotless and the staff was attentive and friendly.
We stayed at Ka'Ana for our honeymoon and we couldn't have made a better choice. The grounds were so peaceful, our room was superb (included a sunroom with hammock overlooking the pool), and the staff treated us like we were the only people in the world.
From the moment we set foot in Ka'Ana we were greeted by our first names and were consistently greeted that way. Our room wasn't quite ready so we were taken up to the beautiful bar for a welcome drink. In about 20 minutes we were told our...
Lovely setting. Attentive staff were helpful with getting us a quick delicious bite to eat and then getting us into our beautiful room. We were the only guests and found everyone allowed us to be very casual. This was helpful and made our stay enjoyable
We stayed at Chaa Creek based upon online reviews, but no amount of praise can do this place justice. Spacious and clean rooms, immaculate grounds, awesome staff, meals that we can't stop talking about (menu changes daily and everything is prepared fresh), plus activities galore. We stayed in a garden suite (reserved a cottage but upgraded?) and were most impressed by the comfort and size of the room. The pool was a great welcome home after a hot day out and about. Note: No air...
We enjoyed our stay. We were in the stone house which was ok but did not have any outdoor space to chill in. Typically in our vacations we like to sit on a porch and do nothing. I noticed that there were several other options that might be perfect for this on the property so next time I might pick more carefully which room we are in. But the people here are great and really neat location! Cachal Pech next door is totally worth the trip as well! We came here as a jumping off point for Tikal,...
