Hotels in Seven Miles El Progresso

The room was spacious and clean. Pool is in perfect shape and well maintained. Diane and Allen took every effort to make us feel welcome and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Unfortunately the noise level from the adjacent street was unpleasant during breakfast.

We stayed at Chaa Creek based upon online reviews, but no amount of praise can do this place justice. Spacious and clean rooms, immaculate grounds, awesome staff, meals that we can't stop talking about (menu changes daily and everything is prepared fresh), plus activities galore. Amazing and beautiful

We took a bus from Belize city to San Ignacio. It is 4 usd per person for the bus ride. It might have taken longer than using a shuttle service, which i believe was 95 usd, but well worth the savings. The bus is a standard school bus and was full but it was only the two of us traveling so it wasn't hard to find a seat together. Cute hotel that gives quick access to San Ignacio without being in the center of town. The property is sweet and the staff are super helpful and nice.

Budget hotel located in the heart of San Ignacio. You cant beat the location. Tour agencies, restaurants and bus stops are just outside the hotel. I think it's important people understand where they are staying. There is no door dash no room service. You won't see anyone around the grounds. For us it was so peaceful. Two total units on the property... We wanted an experience in the jungle with high end digs. The geckos sang to us it was unforgettable!

The property and House was clean and cool with AC! The staff was so much fun and thoughtful! We learned so much from Alfred and Dwight throughout our stay! We also did the big zip lines, repelling, and tight rope which was fun and beautiful! There is lots to do around the resort and it’s close to so many beautiful sights!

This is a quiet and friendly place to stay. The staff make you feel at home and make a lot of effort to make your feel welcome. The best part is that it is unique. I loved staying at the maya mountain lodge. The problem was being a solo traveler and trying to go on tours. You need at least 2 people so that could be difficult. I would have liked to have done a tour tramsfer when i was leaving but the option was nit available to a solo traveler. Everything else about it was wonderful. The view up the hill was also beautiful !

Incredibly beautiful. So much to see on the 7200 acres. Abundant wildlife . Pine forest and broadleaf jungle. Jaguar Reserve. Waterfalls everywhere. Could not believe what we were seeing.
