We went there for part of our one week trip to Guilin and Yangshuo area. There are lots of small hotels scattered around Yangshuo and that makes it difficult to choose. Finally, we choose Li River Resort because it is not in the city centre (the West Street) which is too busy for a relaxed trip whilst not very far away from places of action. The staff are incredibly friendly, approachable, and accommodating. The variety of food and local options are substantial. Free electric vehicles available to zip around. Wonderful hiking options and a view to come back to. One thing I would recommend against is letting someone else do your personal laundry. My clothes came back damp and I don't think they used laundry detergent. Otherwise, this is a stop I plan to make again annually!

The hotel staffs are excellent and super kind. After checked out the hotel and I was on my to next city, I received a test message from the front desk staff and was told that I left a bag in the room I didn't even notice. They sent the bag to my next destination so I didn't need to worry about it. Unfortunately I didn't ask her name, but everyone works there deserved a hat off for the excellent job they've done.
