Perfect location for our stay. We had several shops in walking distance which gave us a nice chance to get some fresh air without driving. It was quiet and breakfast was great!
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was, I will stay here again in the future. Continental breakfast consisted of apples, juice, a muffin and granola bars, but otherwise the restaurant food was delicious.
It's always a risk traveling to an unfamiliar area, and we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and location. I traveled with my husband and son and we went to a nearby Mexican restaurant for a delicious dinner.
The hallway carpet was gross, but the room was nice.
The breakfast was half as good as the offerings at the Wawa down the street and was twice the price. I optimistically went for the hotel breakfast the first morning but got a microwaved hard roll with a from frozen egg and cheese for $13 and learned my lesson.
The stay was great. Check in was easy we arrived late in the night about 9:30pm we were tired. Our room was spacious and clean with clean bathrooms and filled containers of lotion and hand soap. The bed was comfortable. We did not get to try breakfast that morning because we left prior to the start of weekend breakfast.
I stayed at this same hotel for 2 days the week before this stay and there was a noticable difference in staff. My first stay, I checked in late Thursday Dec 17th. The night auditor Darren was very pleasant and helpful. When we checked in late Sunday night/Monday morning the 20th, there was a different person working. She was not pleasant at all and actually came across actually quite rude to not just myself and guests but 2 other people that came in during my check in needing something. ...
We were turned away by another hotel chain that accepts pets in some locations, but apparently not in Waldorf (not clear on their corporate website). After driving 9+ hours and arriving at 10:30 pm, their manager wouldn't accommodate or make an acception. IMAGINE OUR PLEASURE when greeted kindly & warmly by the staff at Reaidence Inn,where we were upgraded to a 2bd suite at no extra charge when it was discovered the room Id frantically booked online was unavailable!

The room was very comfortably inviting after a very long day on the road. Breakfast offerings very impressive & a treat bag of health bar, apple, water for the road upon leaving!
The Hotel is realitively new and everything is clean and in great working order. The shower had three cannisters mounted on the wall for dispersing shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The bed was comfortable with an ample number of pillows. There are plenty of lights spread throughout the room. The breakfast was good with a decent selection of hot food (eggs, great bacon, pancakes, cereals and toast) along with a broad selection of drinks. Great apartment, big space, great bedroom and living room. The bathtub was not the best and needed some updating but at least the bathroom was modern enough. Would recommend.
Arrived in rain on Christmas Eve. Picked the hotel because it was near a family member's home. My room was very comfortable, cozy, clean, quiet, and restful. I didn't eat breakfast there since I was going to have breakfast with my family nearby. I would definitely recommend it to others and would also stay there again if necessary.
I was very impressed by the cleanliness of this property. The shower, floors and bed were all very clean in the room. Even under the chair cushion, no crumbs or trash. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating during our stay. Would stay again.
