Breakfast was always good. The property is a 7 minute walk to Playa Negra- which is a quite lovely beach. They have bikes at the hotel you can borrow which I used to go to the Playa Cochles (20 minutes) and Puerto Viejo (about 7 minutes). They pool there is very nice. I spent most of my time in the beach. The place was quiet and I slept very well. Having a/c was great- I dobt think I could have done without it and was a big reason why I decided to stay here. In short, highly recommend!

Let me start by saying we had originally planned on staying only two nights, but then left our highly rated and fully paid for hotel to return to this gem. Why? This is a beautiful hotel. Beautiful wood, restaurant and bar and the lush jungle landscape is just beautiful. Loved the pool also. The standout about this place though is the staff for sure.
