We loved everything about this hotel and we are so happy we chose to stay here. The hotel was very clean; we would come in and our room would smell and look amazing. The food options at the restaurant were excellent (we tried all the local dishes and local juices/milkshakes). This hotel (not really kind of a retreat/B&B) is set away from the surrounding towns and is in the middle of a small working farm. You drive past cows and milking stalls on the way in....you feel that you're stepping even further away from your busy life to a simpler time. The hotel is located on top of a mountain with great expansive views. Its very cool at night but warm during the day. The cabins are cozy but have cooking facilities. The pool is refreshing. Javier does a great job making guests feel comfortable. Breakfasts were included and very tasty. There's a lot to do in the area. Poas Volcano, Grecia, and Sarchi is closer. Highly recommended.

Wonderful little family run hotel, friendly, such nice people! Free airport shuttle, wonderful free breakfast, delicious coffee. Very safe and secure for single elderly women traveler. Pool is clean, refreshing..so relaxing. Best part is the beautiful gardens, tropical plants and all the birds singing in the trees..will surely come back here.
We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. It is just as the pictures show and better. Our room and the rest of the hotel was spotless. Front desk and restaurant/bar staff were very kind. We only stayed one night but I would definitely come back. Free shuttle to airport was great as well.
I find no fault whatsoever with this hotel. I liked everything. It had a safe in the room where I could lock up my electronic devices whenever I wanted.
