Great place!!!! Restaurant is amazing with a unique setting and wine cellar in an old grist mill. Morning continental basket of goodies was phenomenal! Lots of history in the area and nice to stay with a local business instead of the corporate Homestead, which is beautiful but not the same country feel as here.
This was a very clean place. Easy to find and the pool was excellent. This was a spur of the moment stay for us and couldn’t have been happier. Neighborhood appeared to be nice as well. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
Manager did our small group a favor & prepared a sandwich, vegetables, & pie dessert for us. We stayed in the "Nautical Room," which had an assortment of nautical decor. The library in the place was enormous, with satellite bookcases throughout. Breakfast included eggs & bacon, with a nice assortment of cold dishes.
I would say the stay was like visiting my grandma on her farm. Just felt like home. Everyone was nice. They had a little breakfast area where you could get like pastries or quiche. Then go sit outside to stare at the beautiful mountains. They also have a cafe for lunch and dinner. Which was delicious. Another plus is its right across from the warm springs pool so you wont have far to travel. On the downside and its nothing to do with the inn. Everything closes at like 8 o'clock so make sure you...
Wonderful home on beautiful grounds. Wonderful cazebo overlooking a creek boardering the rear of the property. Sandra met us shortly after we arrived inviting us in like family with a tour of the house and our room. Breakfast was marvelous with all you could want.
This is a beautiful resort but way too expensive. They nickel and dime you for every single possible thing, and all rates are way too high. The spa was amazing but not sure we can afford to go back. I think there may be better value elsewhere without all these extra expenses and charges.
Check in is at Penny's Diner, about 20 ft from hotel entrance. It is about 8 years old, and provides a smoke free environment. I could rave on and on about this place, but suffice it to say I booked online, sight unseen, and booked again for the return trip and will continue to book whenever my travel takes me near Low Moor, VA.
