I stayed here both before and after my Uganda Gorilla safari. I loved the location with Lake Victoria across the dirt road - view from my second floor balcony was gorgeous. The staff always was helpful and very pleasant - they always sent someone to fix things when something did not work which was frequent as property is older. If you can manage with very basic amenities and just want an inexpensive hotel with friendly staff and a postcard view, do stay at Anderita Beach!

At first I thought his hotel was a bit expensive, due to its proximity to the airport, but after a week traveling in Uganda, I think this hotel is a better value than anything else we saw. (We saw dingy tent cabins that cost more per night) The staff is friendly and attentive, the aiport transfers went off without a hitch - it was great to see our hotel driver waiting amongst the chaos leaving the airport. Good AC, great, functional bug nets - even though we didn't see a mosquito in the room....
