We stayed 2 nights at the Highbrook, Sept. 14th & 15th. The room was large and spotless, and had been recently renovated. The location was perfect for visiting Acadia and the Town of Bar Harbor. The free shuttle buses stop at the hotel. The breakfast was very good, it included Breakfast Sandwiches, Oatmeal, Bagels, Muffins, Eggs, Yogurt, Bananas, Orange Juice, Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Condiments of all types. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed this property. The room was very clean and spacious. There were a wide variety of pillow options and since I like really firm pillows and my wife prefers super soft- this was great! They offer good toiletries in the bath and the water pressure was adequate. The breakfast was more than adequate and included bacon, potato's and an omelette. The coffee was strong as I like and there were plenty of yogurt and fruit options. We will stay at this property again.

This is my third time staying here and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve stayed here twice during the summer and once during the fall. The rooms are super cozy. The room is always so clean and smells great. It’s close enough to downtown and Arcadia National Park. When in the room you can’t hear the traffic. Hanscom’s is definitely a diamond in the rough. I also have to say Isis who works at the property is always super nice and fast with responding if you email her.
