"Overwater bungalows were amazing, clean, tidy and spacious, with beautiful views and snorkleing with turtles. However the lack of food choices, the expense of food, the seagulls constantly hovering at the restaurant was disappointing, as was the fact the pool bar closed at 3:30pm and they didn't even make your drinks at the bar, they brought them in from the restaurant - it just didn't fit the holiday vibe. 3-4 days in an overwater bungalow would be amazing, but then you are ready to explore the wonderful restaurants back in noumea and have some different food and experiences"

"Positives: Location was excellent, close to restaurants, bars and beach. Staff friendly and helpful Not so good: Although seems to be in the process of being renovated, rooms were dated and not well maintained. We had to switch rooms due to airconditioner causing a leak in the roof."

"The room (Jnr suite) was clean, comfortable & spacious with fridge, microwave & small hotplate in kitchenette but lighting, especially in kitchen & lounge was poor. When it was windy, the balcony roof caught the wind & it roared & rattled all night, but there were block out curtains in the bedroom. Parking was undercover which was great, & unusual in the area! The revolving restaurant had good quality food, but only 2 expensive choices - steak or fish!"

"Beautiful view of the beach, room was a bit tired, you could tell they were working on improving them. Comfortable enough and in a great location. Although sold as a serviced apartment it’s important to note that the apartments are clearly only serviced on the weekend so if you are staying Saturday to Saturday ensure you plan to accommodate clean towels etc, there is a washing machine."

"Our room was a good room in fair condition. Generally the whole property was lacking the sparkle of a 4/5 star hotel , Although it was priced as a 5 star !!. Differently not up to Marriott standards although marketed as a Marriott Hotel. On line Marriott say the hotel is "Closed" and there is no name at the entrance or any directions to the property. Any member of the general public can and do use the pool and other areas of the property for a small daily fee. Overall we were very disappointed and very over charged !! "
