We had a wonderful stay! The Homestay is set in the mountains with the village just down the hill. We felt welcomed into the home and the village. The property overlooks a lovely rice field and the mountains. The room was clean and tidy. Motor bikes and tours are able to be setup at the property. We ate like royalty while staying here for a reasonable price. My favorites were the fried rice and the fried plantains. Damai hotel was very nice and relaxing in a beautiful serene setting. Drinks and food at the hotel are first class but on the expensive side for Bali. The problem with the place is there is not much to do if you are there for a several days. The town of Lovina is small and it does not offer much of shopping or great restaurants. The beach is ugly and uninviting. Hotel is the nicest place to be. If you must come to this part of the island I recommend Damai hotel. However the over all experience...

What a location and beautiful property. It takes 3 hours to get there from Ubud, but what an unbelievable stay, and well worth the journey. This is an absolute hidden gem!

It's a beautiful newish property with spectacular views!! It was clean and staff was super helpful and friendly.
The only negative is that it is hard to find - no signs on main street and kind of bad path off the main road. The outside of the property seems to be worked on still so hopefully it will all be resolved once finished.
Also not much to do right around there - but that is probably the case for many places around Bali.
This hotel is nestled in the Ubud Jungle. The property is beautiful and spacious. A real hidden gem. Personally, what made my stay memorable where the staff. They're attentive, kind, overall the best in hospitality. I'd happily return any chance I'd get. Perfect location for someone looking to escape the crowds. There are amazing waterfall tours you can take in Ubud. Keep in mind, Ubud is around 2hrs away from the airport with traffic but worth the stay.
Beautiful property and great staff. Walked into town and explored on our own. Our only complaint was that the only option for dinner was at the retreat, which did not have much variety for vegans/vegetarians and was generally just ok.
Had an absolutely wonderful time at Bondalem Beach Club. The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make sure my stay was a joy. So much so, they climbed a tree to get me a fresh coconut. The rooms are spacious, welcoming and beautiful. The pools are spectacular. The sunrises/sunsets from my room’s patio were a dream. I highly recommend BBC if you need a quiet, beautiful and relaxing getaway.
