Lovely place, with lovely, friendly, helpful, and hospitable family owners who mange the hotel. There is a full service restaurant in the hotel. Location great for downtown Tam Coc, and easily walkable. The hotel also rents bicycles and small motorcycles. It is a new hotel in excellent shape, and very nice rooms. It does get a little noisy around 6 am, when life outside the hotel begins, and that might be a consideration for some.

This facility is a magnificent choice as a base to visit all the interesting sites in Ninh Binh. The rooms are large with excellent beds. The staff were kind, efficient and willing to help beyond expectations.
Coco Island was the perfect location for our Ninh Binh activities. Short bike ride to Mua Hang. Beautiful scooter ride to Bich Dong Pagoda. The villas even had a mascot who I low key named Coco. I loved this little kitty. Hung with us poolside. The rooms were clean with an incredible greenery view. The staff provided exceptional service. Highly recommend!
The homestay was run by a very friendly and lovely family. They were polite and very kind and made us feel at home. Really the only issue was finding the property coming from the bus station. It’s much easier to find if you use the alley coming from the boat station.
I had the most magical 2 nights at the Tam Coc Valley Eco Resort. The staff was incredible - kind and helpful. I had communicated with them that I’d be arriving into town past midnight and due to other matters outside of my control I arrived at 4:00 am and the staff was waiting for for me and happily greeted me to my room. I’ve been around the world (35 countries) and stayed many places. I’d put this in my top 5 hotels/resorts that I’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful, peaceful, unique and top notch views, service and food.
The host here is great! Super friendly and accommodating! The area is remote and quiet, you can rent motorbikes at the shop/home down the street. Room is clean with a nice view, good WiFi too. We stayed right before Tet, so it was hard to get a Grab car to the shuttle that was taking us to Hanoi at 7AM, the host called his friend who gave us a ride. I highly recommend this place! :)
