Hotels in Quartier Militaire

The apartment hotel was quiet and clean nestled in between two malls. The beaches were close by and finding food was easy plus the grocery store is 2 miles away…. so is KFC. Everyone was helpful. Make sure to contact hotel before arrival and give them your arrival time so they can be ready with the snacks or any accommodations you may need like wine etc!!!!!! Oh the mosquitos and ants are tough bring spray!

It is a fantastic hotel close to business, I literally walked to some of my clients in Port Louis. Staff are fantastic, friendly and very helpful. My only complaint would be that my mattress and pillows were getting close to the time that it should be changed, but saying that, it was not uncomfortable at all.

We originally booked at another hotel and stuck it out for two days until enough was enough. The staff was very friendly and supportive. They provided guidance and also help with tours. The hotel is pretty well run; it is very clean, quiet, and safe. It has a nice swimming pool and offers good food.

EXCELLENT! Highly recommended. It takes a bit of work to reach the island from the airport, but you will not be disappointed. The staff attends to your every need.

Great service and staff. The beach house and free shuttle to the beach and the facilities at the house was 5 stars. Room was excellent veey comfortable and clean. The food wasn't that good but it is not expensive comparing to many in Mauritius with same or lower stars. Overall I think this is one of the best stays I had in many countries.

A fantastic hotel. Well maintained, excellent food and service. Just wish that I could book full board through Expedia as it worked out pretty expensive to pay for lunch at hotel each day.

We just spent a wonderful 5 nights at the Oberoi and loved every second. The rooms are large and luxurious with a private terrace and an especially nice bathtub big enough for 2. The water sports are gratis including a snorkel boat 3x a day that goes out to just past the reef very closeby. The snorkeling right off the beach is also nice and full of fish. It's too much to write about, if you're going to the island don't look at another hotel just book this one.

The best hotel in mauritius

My wife and I travel frequently and have been fortunate enough to visit multiple islands in Hawaii, the Caribbean as well as enjoy fine hotels all Europe and the US. Until now I have never been impressed or moved enough to even take the time to write a review. The staff at SALT of Palmar is undoubtedly the greatest we have ever encountered.
