We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Carpathia. It was right on the main street of Sinaia and between a 5-10 minute walk to any of the restaurants in the town. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and our room was comfortable and quiet.
We kept our windows open to cool the room. Also, be careful in the shower, as we found that water tended to spill out onto the floor. We found a terrific guide in Sorin Popescu, a cab driver who provided us with a terrific...
Lovely, well maintained hotel, fronting onto a beautiful park. We had a ground floor room which was large and spacious. The bathroom was also large but there was no shower curtain for the spray over the bath. It was not clear whether there was ac - there was a thermostat but no vents. We slept well since it was cool outside. We did not try the breakfast because we had an early start and the meal would have been in a neighboring hotel.

The villa is beautiful, the bungalow unit was perfect for 3 teenagers, just next to the pool. The double room was on the ground floor next to the dinning room but still was quite. The staff are friendly and willing to assist you, the garden is best area for relaxing or playing. The breakfast was very good and fresh. The valley area is must for exploring by car and walk.
Only you have to know the water in the shower are a bit salty and the temperature is not stable - cycles of hot and cold...

This place was beautiful and on the edge of the wonderful little city of Sinaia. Greatly enjoyed our time here. The staff were wonderful and helpful. They have a partner restaurant with 10% off that offered excellent food. A large buffet was offered for breakfast. Would highly recommend.
