Staff was absolutely great. Food was as well. I stayed here for 5 nights but traveled 1800 kilometers around Ireland looking at property for my new home with Dooley’s as home base each night as it’s centrally located. It was perfect and I would stay there anytime.
Simply fantastic. The staff and accomodations were excellent, and we so appreciated receiving a very kind complimentary room upgrade to celebrate our anniversary. The history of the castle and surrounding land is fascinating and steeped in lore, and we enjoyed learning more about this this very special part of the heart of Ireland.
The lake view room we had was just beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially in the dining areas. A lovely, hot breakfast was included, and it was in a great location for the day trips we had planned during our stay.
