We were looking for an authentic, off-the-beaten path experience and this was it. Having the opportunity to stay the night in the dessert, ride camels and quads through sand dunes, watch a beautiful sunset, listen to traditional Bedouin music and have a delicious meal were outstanding. We would definitely recommend.
The property is an traditional Berber house that is very tastefully renovated.we stayed in the cave room which was a unique experience, and had all the amenities. I Patrick and Sabine are wonderful hosts.The price includes dinner in addition to breakfast. The dinner was the best I had in Tunisia.They offer a wide selection of Tunisian wines and other liquor. Overall, this is one of the best experience I have had not only in Tunisia.
I was worried with all the bad reviews, but this place was perfect for an overnight stop before going to the desert. It costs 20 dinar (~$6 USD) to park there overnight, however, the parking has a guard and roof so it is worth it. We also left our bags there. There is no wifi in the rooms, but honestly, I tethered through my Google Fi phone connection in most places in Tunisia anyway. Overall a good stay.
