This hotel is located in the heart of the city with a wonderful pub inside and fine dining adjacent. Parking is free (and located approximately 5 minutes walk). Great location in a wonderful little town. Some rooms are located right by the street which can get rowdy at night times. Ask for a room that doesn't face the main street.
The Atlantic is an older building that has the perfect flavor of the resort hotels of my youth: whisper quiet long carpeted hallways, a small but comfortable room, and caring and competent staff. It is definitely a budget hotel but the service was excellent and we very much appreciated the personal care.
We stayed at the Tara 3 yrs ago before the renovations and it was a lovely hotel so we came back for another stay. All the new renovations, the restaurant, spa, rooms and more made it an amazing stay. The food was outstanding, the decore was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend
We had a great room overlooking the ocean that was spacious, clean, quiet and easy access. The food in the restaurant was so delicious and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Overall this was a great three nights and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The bathroom was very clean, but the bathtub was quite tall, making it a little difficult to get in and out. Also, my husband is 6’2”, and the shower head was mounted too low for him to shower comfortably.

This was a very nice hotel; although it is a little off the beaten track to some of Ireland's more well-known attractions. The staff was very helpful and attentive, and we enjoyed our stay very much.
