This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! It’s a renovated hospice and every detail has been attended to. The showers were large and wonderful! The staff is courteous and friendly. Everything is very up to date and the entire property is very clean. The morning buffet is 5 star and so is the adjoining restaurant. Be sure to check out the beautiful chapel in the hotel! Also the hotel is right next door to a National Park with live animals. Definitely would stay again!

It was one of my best choices the staff was very courteous always willing to make you feel comfortable. The room is spacious, comfortable and very clean. I slept like a baby. Definitely I would recommend The Palace hotel to anyone you won't regret it. I stayed two nights when I arrived and when I came back i booked the same hotel two more nights just to spend my last days in Guayaquil. The place is very clean, well managed. The staff is well trained and eager to help. There was at least one English speaking person in each shift. The beds were good. The restaurant is of high standard. Good quality art is everywhere. A very eye-pleasing sight. You can be met at the airport and brought back for your departure in a shuttle (a 15-minute drive) at no charge. We were on a dream vacation using Guayaquil as a stop over point before heading to the Orient on a tour. My partner mistakenly left his credit cards in a bedside table drawer here. We didn't notice until a week into our vacation. On our tour, which ended in Guayaquil, we painstakingly backtracked our steps. Very convenient to airport and local shopping. Outstanding service and price.

Staff was attentive and helpful. The room was comfortable and breakfast in the morning was delicious and attractively served. The grounds are beautiful - a place of retreat. It is placed high on the hill above the noise of the city and is quiet and restful. I have stayed here twice and both times were a welcome interlude in my travels. I would recommend it to anyone needing a place of rest before going on their way.

They were very kind, patient, and hospitable. Facility was super clean. They are following the CDC’s guidelines for COVID. The community Areas were not crowded. There is outside sitting to eat. The room service also brings up food to your room and all the food is appropriately covered and silverwear is brought in a sealed bag. Food was always delicious and at the appropriate temperature.
