This guesthouse is exceptional. Especially for families, but for anyone who likes a green oasis with animals and plants in every corner. The animals are well taken care of, there are activities for kids and adults. The food is delicious. There's a welcome package with info about the farm, mealtimes, activities in the area, and info about Ramadan. The hosts and staff are so friendly and happy to help or chat.

We left Marrakech a day early to escape the motorbike fumes. We booked this property on a whim as it was near the Ourika Valley and we're so glad we did! We drove a rental car and just a word of warning: Do not trust your GPS! This location is quite remote off a dirt road and our map took us on a joy ride through a remote village where we were the only car. The staff were incredible. The food amazing. The rooms super comfortable and great. The property was so peaceful and they were willing to help at every turn. Even free laundry which was a necessity at this point in our travels. All the delicate clothes came back in perfect condition. The starts were some of the brightest we have ever seen. It was a little slice of heaven. Very reasonably priced on all accords. Highly recommended.

Cute, authentic Berber riad. Imlil is a good 20-30 minute walk down a fairly steep road. Omar and his staff are very kind and helpful. They can arrange for transportation to or from Marrakech (40€) and even Casablanca (110€). We arrived during Ramadan and COVID. We weren’t sure what to expect, so we did not make any pre-travel plans. Omar was able to arrange for guide for hiking or driving tours on arrival. He also has contacts for outfitters to supply warm clothes and equipment to go to up...

We had a wonderful stay at Chez Momo II. The views from the hotel are breathtaking and there is able patio space to relax and take in the surroundings. Food at the hotel was phenomenal and very reasonably priced. Staff was very easy to work with and accommodating. I would highly recommend going for a guided hike to the “top of the world”. Ask for a guide by the name of Mohammed to show you around. Highly recommend this area of Morocco and this hotel specifically.

I spent 5 nights at Kasbah Africa and it was a tremendous stay and experience for the value. The rooms are spacious and charming with wood stoves and offer beautiful mountain views. The home-style cooking is very traditional but delicious. Travelers should understand this isn't a bit of a more rustic getaway - as long as they keep that in mind, they will enjoy their stay and the magical surroundings.
