We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Slovenia! There were several stairs to climb, but it was quiet and peaceful, and the staff was wonderful.
The restaurant on the first floor served some of the most amazing food—a highlight of our stay! The hotel is in a sweet little town, perfectly located between Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj, with beautiful surrounding mountains.
We loved our time here and would definitely return—and stay longer next time!
The best. Traveling with 2 friends for the last 30 years over much of the world, I would rank this one of the most delightful small hotels. Lovely third floor suite overlooking Lake Bled complete with the perfect castle highlighted by a rainbow. Staff was young and professional while maintaining a warm sense of humor. Arranged all of our requests immediately and were helpful with excellent suggestions for our three days in the area. Variety of guests from a Lebonese biking group speaking French...
Exterior look not very impressive, interior very pleasant. Water park is really clean with good water temperature. Location of the hotel is not so interesting, small town with not many activities in it (but lot of options for excursions nearby, though).
We enjoyed every moment we stayed at the Penzion Berc. The owners and all staff were above and beyond in meeting our needs. The food was very delicious and made our stay very complete and very quaint and perfect.

The hotel is right across from Lake Bohinj. The parking was very easy. The hotel is very clean and has an elevator. The room was large, and we had a room with a balcony facing the lake! The bathroom was a good size.
Two nights using the hotel as a base to visit Nova Gorica and Bled. Breakfast buffet was extensive - continental choices plus scrambled eggs and British sausage. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The dining room staff sometimes does double duty at registration desk. Lots of tourist information. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk and train station is a couple of minutes longer.
Absolutely wonderful accommodations and can hardly fault them at all.

Nice room with some common areas. Good location not too far from the lake. Convenient parking at the property. Option for breakfast in a nearby hotel or we actually purchased a nice breakfast basket with fresh, local products that lasted us for two meals.
