We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our one night in Berat at this place. Wonderful staff, right next to castle, quiet, and a great rooftop area to have drinks and or dinner and look down into the valley of Berat.
This is a charming pension-style hotel with beautifully maintained rooms and lovely common areas. The bed was comfortable and the hot water plentiful. The breakfast was very pleasant. Hotelier permitted an early check-in without problems.
