Don't let the name fool you. This could easily be a Vivanta, Taj or Hyatt. It is run like a 4 star property. The staff have an incredible "can do" attitude for even the most challenging requests. I was very impressed as a westerner - especially as Best Westerns are not exactly 4stars in the US. Super plus points on the shower which was never ending hot with exceptional pressure. Amenities, views and rooftop terrace sets this property apart from everything in Mcleod Ganj

We arrived at about 5:30AM with no lights on, front gate locked and no sign of any staff. We were afraid we would be sitting on the front porch until someone showed up later in the morning. We ended up walking around a bit and one of the staff heard us, got out of bed and checked us in. He asked us what time we wanted breakfast and let us freshen...
