"An Arabian Nights Dream at the Edge of the Dunes If you are traveling to Merzouga, skip the generic resorts and stay at Nasser Palace. This isn't just a hotel; it’s an authentic gateway to the Sahara. Located in Hassilabied, right at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes, it offers an experience that feels like stepping into a movie set. The Vibe: The architecture is stunning—a traditional artisanal kasbah with beautiful carvings and a sprawling central patio.
