I loved staying at the Queen Grand Boutique Hotel in Phnom Penh. Great food- especially the breakfast selection, great spa- had a nice massage, and great bars! I love the happy hour cocktails, and special thanks to the great bar staff, Sareda & Sothy. All the staff are very welcoming, and my room was always cool and clean.
The staff was very nice and the cafe on the ground floor was both convenient and delicious! We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Phnom Penh!
Has an elevator, hot water, decent breakfast, great staff. Shower is western style; that is, behind a glass door and not over the toilet. Nice wide screen TV, good WiFi, bed is a little stiff for my taste, but OK. Always ask the rate for a taxi or tuk tuk before you get in, same for laundry. Be careful of people wanting to share a ride, they are usually lying about why they want to get in with you.
If you miss Western things, go to Aeon Mall, a $3 tuk tuk from the hotel. Bowling, ice...
Our stay at Plantation was the most relaxed part of our vacation. We received free upgrade with access to the pool directly from our room. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The food at the pool and La Pergola was delicious. The facilities with the lush greenery was very tropical. The bed was very comfortable with clean linens. We truly enjoyed our stay and wished we had stayed longer than two nights.
Probably one of the best hotel gyms I’ve seen and it has one of the best views of the city by the rooftop pool. By far one of my favorite, the only bad thing is the front desk took a picture of my passport with his personal phone after I had already checked in and sent a copy of my passport. That was weird, but outside of that great stay.
