Enjoyed our 3 day stay here. We had an issue with the shower drain backing up and reported it. A maintenance person was sent and, although the drain worked better, it was still not draining as it should. We reported it once more and they mentioned they had no service people on that day, but the service manager, Paval, showed up (in a suit), took his suit jacket off and started working on it. He fixed it. We were very pleased with the service we received.

I have nothing but good words to say about the Bloomfield staff. I needed to attend a funeral in Mullingar during one of the worst snow storms of the last hundred years.I stayed in the Bloomfield during this time and the staff were kind and attentive.I would particularly like to single out Orla and the lovely girl from Slovakia. At one point. Orla (a Westmeath native) who is a very slight girl, marched up to me in the lobby, with shovel in hand, and said that she was ready to help me dig out...

Polite and accommodating staff. Grounds are absolutely beautiful for golfers or families, alike. 20 minutes away from Mullingar and 5 minutes from Tyrrellspass, with shopping, pubs, historical sites (Belvedere, Lake Ennell) nearby. Spacious rooms allow for plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some privacy. Close to all highways to get you where you need to go. Highly recommend for those looking for a taste of Ireland with modern amenities.
