Wow! Moorepark is centrally located to pretty much anything you want to see on a nice day trip. We visited the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin cave in one trip. We had planned to stay one night but because it was so easy to travel back and forth to different places, we decided to stay five nights and use Moorepark as our home base. Wonderful hotel with an incredible leisure ctr with pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym; daily breakfast was fantastic and substantial. Mallow is a great, relaxing small town, but large enough to have plenty of groceries, shopping, a movie theater, restaurants and bars. Also has a neat series of walking trails around the city- all paved and flat. Train station is a 10-15 minute walk to hotel on paved sidewalks. Intercity bus stop is about 5 mins from hotel.
