We enjoyed walking around town and going in the shops. Everything was comfortable and convenient. My grandson really enjoyed the playground out back. He wanted to keep going back. The full Irish breakfast was really delicious! The service at breakfast was really good, but the Pub only had one waitress so the wait for the check was very long. All in all we would definitely go back again. Also we got there way before check-in time, but they went out of their way to get us in our room way early.

Polite and accommodating staff. Grounds are absolutely beautiful for golfers or families, alike. 20 minutes away from Mullingar and 5 minutes from Tyrrellspass, with shopping, pubs, historical sites (Belvedere, Lake Ennell) nearby. Spacious rooms allow for plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some privacy. Close to all highways to get you where you need to go. Highly recommend for those looking for a taste of Ireland with modern amenities.

I needed to attend a funeral in Mullingar during one of the worst snow storms of the last hundred years.I stayed in the Bloomfield during this time and the staff were kind and attentive.I would particularly like to single out Orla and the lovely girl from Slovakia. At one point. Orla (a Westmeath native) who is a very slight girl, marched up to me in the lobby, with shovel in hand, and said that she was ready to help me dig out...
