Except hotel with really large rooms. Very quiet place to stay and get your thoughts together and even meditate. I loved the quietness and the scenery around to hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful. The hotel restaurant was also very good. We also toured the local “Pilgrim Craft Beer Brewery” located next door to the hotel. The brewmasters were very cordial and knowledgeable about brewing. The flavors of beer we fantastic. Very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend if you looking to get...

Hotel Walhalla

St. Gallen

10/10 Exceptional

This hotel was a very nice surprise. Conveniently situated within steps of the train station, it was really wonderful. It was very much a comfortable business hotel that provided excellent service. The breakfast was well worth the extra cost and offerings were always fresh and well stocked. The only negative was the lack of ability to cast to the television. This is small but would have been an excellent addition. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Säntis - Das Hotel

Hundwil

10/10 Exceptional

Das Hotel at Säntis is nothing like a 3* hotel. I would give it 4 1/2* for sure. From check in to check out the staff looks sfter you, is super friendly and help ful. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. View of the mountain is stunning. The restaurant serves a very good breakfast buffet as well as dinner. Quality of the food is very high using a lot of regionally sourced products, inclusing cheese from the cheese fsctory across the street. We especially liked the short-holiday package...

Hotel Hecht

Appenzell

The location is GREAT on the main road in Appenzell. The staff is super friendly and helpful in suggestion things to do. The breakfast was very good as well. The only to be aware of (which wasn't a negative for us) is the Church right across the street rings its bells until pretty late and again at 6:30 am. They are awesome bells, but very loud. That being said, my wife is a light sleeper and this didn't seem to bother her. It did wake me at 6:30 am however, but that's not a problem if your an...

Hotel Appenzell

Appenzell

10/10 Exceptional

The Hotel Appenzell is absolutely charming! The central location on the plaza is excellent, with a view to activities going on in town. It's conveniently right next to the Tourist Info center. The staff was cheerful and helpful. They responded promptly to requests, such as for a fan in our room. The room was delightful. It was bigger than other rooms we stayed in in Switzerland, and it was decorated in a charming, white and gold french style, with crystal ceiling lights, and big windows...
