Ashford Castle

I don't think it is possible to rate Ashford Castle as anything less than a full 5-star experience. In fact, if I could give it six stars I would. The level of customer service is so far above and beyond the call of duty it almost takes your breath away. Yes, it is expensive. But it is truly worth every penny. From the moment I pulled through the gates I knew this was a special place. It reeks of luxury...in a good way! Be sure to take advantage of the amenities. If you can only do one thing, do...

What a lovely space! Nice room, helpful staff (shoutout John who greeted us & helped with bags and Guy who tended the bar), great amenities like complimentary breath-work classes and other wellness options. The hot tub runs on a timer and takes scheduled down time to idk clean? Filter? It was unclear. Also, it’s not overly hot and the pool area offers very limited lounge chairs (I think I counted 6) Breakfast was gorgeously abundant 😍 The spa had day of availability 🤘there is also a nail...

Newly remodeled hotel, but there is no front desk or anybody working there. Check your message from the hotel when you book because it contains a code to get in the front door. The hotel should put a sign on the entrance to let people know. Other than that, it's a great hotel! There's a few restaurants & pubs really close to the hotel! Powers Thatch is a great restaurant/ pub & Fahertys is a great place to just hangout, especially of Gary is tending the bar!

The Wyatt Hotel

Stayed at the Wyatt again for the first time in years. Their prices had gotten high for awhile but seemed to come down again. It was nice to be back. Looked like they had upgraded some things since I’d been there, like the TVs. The bed was great. Maybe the best sleep on my trip. Also the best shower facilities on my trip. Staff is always professional. They also have good restaurant and bar areas. Even if you don’t stay there, it’s worth a stop in for a bite to eat. Not sure if the Wyatt is he...

Rooms are large, with lots of storage space. All rooms are on ground level. Entire hotel was clean. Has no AC, which is normal for Ireland. First time using a hotel with shared bathroom-Pleasantly surprised. Bathrooms are modern and clean. There is also a large shared kitchen with fridge. There is an attached pizza bar, it was good pizza worth a try. Beds are comfortable. There is plenty of parking space, and easily accessible. Place was quiet. I would stay here again.
